The Sunday XI pulled off another win with a superb win against a strong Radyr team. Morriston elected to bat and found runs hard to come by with the Radyr bowlers getting some swing. Darren Jones hit a good-looking 23, although he swung and missed 6 deliveries in a row from a bowler who was swinging it a mile. Owain Gimblett hit a superb 78 not out which included 4 sixes, all of which went over cow corner and Martyn Hyndman was also in the runs. We ended on 193-6 off our allocated 40 overs.

When Morriston went out to field, it took some Dyfan Powel off-spin off his full run to break the opening partnership and from then on it looked like plain sailing with Dai Davies bowling accurately, Dafydd Gimblett ripping out their middle order in a spell of 3 overs, 3 wickets for 7 runs and he definately looked better in a Morriston hat than in an Ynystawe one! Luke Jones was also in the wickets, taking two with Meilyr Powel getting his first stumping ever as a wicket keeper! Martyn Hyndman also picked up two wickets and the last wicket fell to Darren Jones which wrapped up a good day out!
